LET ME TELL YOU MORE ABOUT ME

After being a Registrar for 10 years I took a leap of faith and decided to break free from the rigid guidelines and restrictions that the register office sets, and start practising what I preach; literally.

And what do I preach?

That love should be celebrated! Without boundaries and limitations. Fully and outwardly.

Celebrated because love comes in so many wondrous forms. Sometimes it creeps up on you, and sometimes it’s pursued until it’s in your grasp. Telling that story, your story, unadulterated and freely, is a pleasure and honour I don’t take for granted.

Becoming a Qualified, Certified Independent Celebrant allows me to do just that, for you! I am so committed to celebrating love for, and with everyone, that I am fully able to deliver your ceremony in British Sign Language so that no-one is excluded . 

So I’m the best choice you’ll make.
Let me tell you why…

I use my remarkable wordsmith skill to turn your story, whatever it may be, into a beautifully written personalised ceremony script.

In addition to that, I’ll also write for you a bespoke poem, which I’ll deliver to you and your guests on your special day as part of the ceremony.

It will be all about you - both of you!

Your personalities, quirks, desires for one another, your future plans together…. and everything in between that comes with finding the one. It’ll be everything you don’t get with a standard register office ceremony.

You’ll laugh, you’ll probably cry too, but it's to be expected as I would have captured the true essence of you. Just as your wedding day should be after all.

And just in case you’re thinking there’s not enough in your personal love story to make it worth writing about, I guarantee you, as the only Celebrant who writes bespoke poems purely based on the conversations we’ll have when we meet, there’s no such thing as “just” a love story. Because they are all unique and full of magic to me.

Permission to share was very graciously given to me by the lovely C&E and it’s now a framed keepsake in their home.

SO WHAT ELSE CAN YOU EXPECT?

In addition to your beautiful poem, I’ll write and present your personalised script as well as source any readings you may want to include in your ceremony. I’ll even help you to write your vows, separately or together, and more importantly, I’m available to you up until the day of your wedding by call or text.

I’ll also never take any other booking on your special day so you can have the ceremony any time; morning, noon, twilight or sunset. And with all the different ceremony rituals you can have such as sand, handfasting, ring warming or a wine box for example, we’ll put it together exactly the way you want it.
